Why this ALEX Toys set
A thirteen-piece tea service in real ceramic, painted with butterflies: four cups, four saucers, a teapot, a sugar bowl and a creamer, all with lids where lids belong. We pitched it at children old enough to pour carefully, because porcelain rewards gentle hands. It is the set that stays out on a shelf rather than back in the box.

What buyers wrote about this set
To start with, I don't really leave reviews often. I'm leaving this one after watching one of the tea cups in this set tumble off my bar height counter for about the 20th time. This set is darling, my kiddo loves it. She often it's real food in it, and we have found it to be dishwasher safe (at least so far). The most impressive thing, as I already mentioned, is how tough this tea set is. For being made of breakable material, it is incredibly durable. It regularly falls off counters, furniture, and is dropped, and not a single piece has been broken. It's shocking everytime a piece drops in the wood floor and doesn't break. Great investment, hours of fun!
Perfect!!! I searched high and low for the right tea set for our 3 year old's Christmas present, and this was it. It's porcelain, so she has to treat it a little more carefully than she does her other kitchen toys, but it's still extremely hardy. (I had read about potentially harmful ingredients in tin tea sets, which is why I went with porcelain.) Also, I think it was a terrific price, so I won't be squeamish about buying a replacement set. While small, it's large enough to use with real food and juice (her pretend tea). It's only the middle of January, but she has gotten so much fun out of this set already!!
This set has been knocked over and fallen more times than I can count and they do not break! They look real and my girls love it. Also, the separater box tore so I asked for a new one and instead of just sending me that, they sent me a whole new set..I’ll definitely be ordering from them again! Thank you!
I absolutely loved this tea set, my daughters wanted a tea set so badly but I wanted to get them something they could actually use and for a good price. We have washed the items and they have not damaged at all. I was a little nervous but they are very durable and we haven't broken any pieces yet!
