I was looking for a replacement for the little plastic bucket my 2 1/2 yr-old daughter loved to play with in the tub because she made such a huge mess with it spilling water everywhere! The net that come with this set has been the perfect solution and the little bugs are cute as can be! She has so much fun scooping up toys with the net that she doesn't care that it doesn't actually hold water like her bucket did, which keeps more water in the tub & not on the floor (and I love that!).
Great tub toy. Net is very well made and sturdy. The bug squirters are cute but I wish they were designed to come apart because I worry about mold growth inside.
I like this toy for my toddler son. We work on concepts "in" and "out" with the bugs in the net while he is in the bath. One thing I will note is that the toy we got has a pink net and a lot of pink in it. (Different than the current picture.) We don't mind but I probably wouldn't feel comfortable giving it as a gift to a little boy who is not my own because some people would think it is a girl's toy with all the pink. He loves to squirt the buggies. For us, a 5-star buy.
My one year old loves this. But I have to squeeze all the water out of each after every bath. Still a great toy for bath time and swimming in her little pool
