This works far better than I would have thought. My daughter (10) really likes it. It is fun and subtle. The colors are more vibrant than I would have thought and I can see the different colors even on her light brown hair (not blond at all, brown/tan) It doesn't seem messy to her bathroom either. She seems to wash it out with a wet washcloth at night (on non-shower nights) but I don't know why she does that. I don't think it stains the sheets. It doesn't stain the cloth. I'm hoping she'll offer to do my hair !
I purchased this set for my 8-year-old niece and she really loves it. The chalk is more waxy than anything and it does take a bit of effort to get vibrant color in the hair. I found that laying the hair over the top of the box (that it comes in) is the easiest and most effective way to get it in the hair.
I have noticed some reviews of this product saying it is hard to use. This is a repeat buy for my grandchild. She asks for it frequently. It is so much fun ! It isn't the easiest to apply...However once we figured out the best method of application it worked great ! This is a really cool product. Well worth the low cost...Vibrant colors ! Washes out easily ! We have such fun playing dress up using this entire line of products !
Great hair chalk, my daughter has used and washed and used and washed and is re-aaplying each day. OMG hahaha hopefully the phase will end. Chalk works well and the instructions for both that and beads are easy and well done. Cute box, and the tools you need are there. Important to comb through after application otherwise it looks grainy and pieces can fall out onto carpet ( speaking from experience ). But my daughter loves it and is happy with the set. Great gift for little girls — makes her feel all grown up!
